Mochi is traditional Japanese glutinous rice dessert. Mochi is served as an offering in shrines. The mochi is then cut into small pieces and give to people for good fortune and health. It then became a snack in various occasions including New Year. Mochi has spread its name to all around the world, now with more creative looking.
