This time round, I am not going to talk historical and origins of the cake, but the health benefits of the cake.
Apricot is high in Vitamin A which is good for the eyes and the skin and also prevents cancer that is associated with the epithelium cells.
Apple, we heard it many times, an apple a day keeps the doctor away. The high antioxidant level helps to keep us away from heart attack and stroke.
Almond is fattening? No, it helps to lower the cholesterol in blood, regulates your blood pressure and prevents osteoporosis.
